GFRC terrazzo
Most "terrazzo" planters sold in Australia are fibreglass shells with a printed or sprayed finish. HTCO pieces are the real thing: concrete cast with real stone, engineered in our own factory.
Composition
Every HTCO piece is a two-layer composite. The outer layer is GFRC, a high-strength concrete mixed with natural quartz aggregates and pigment cast through the full depth of the surface. Behind it sits a structural fibreglass reinforcement layer that adds strength while keeping weight manageable. The result reaches a compressive strength of 80 to 120 MPa, several times stronger than standard concrete.
Genuine aggregate
The chips you see are genuine marble, natural quartz and recycled glass, mixed through the concrete and exposed by hand grinding and polishing. No two pieces are identical, and the pattern can never wear off because it runs through the material.
Built for outdoors
Each piece is finished with a protective sealer for stain, water and UV resistance, rated for indoor and outdoor use. From coastal patios to bathrooms, HTCO terrazzo is built to live outside as well as in.
